So proud of our little guy. Really enjoyed the video Jordan sent earlier this week of his wandering all around the den. Totally awesome. Of course it is right, as parents and grandparents, to get excited, and besides that, don’t we all know he is going to be a genius???? Obviously Dad and I acknowledge that we can’t take any credit for the genius part, but we do love to sit back and bask in the glory of Patrick’s achievements. What a wonderful first Preddy grandson to pass on the family name. Guess you know what this means for his future – golf lessons as soon as he can hold a club and Pappaw and Zack teaching him the ins and outs of casting for bass. And I am sure Grandpa Frank has a few tricks he will impart as well. Aaah – life is good when you have such great grandkids!

The bullying has to stop. Too many children are feeling left out hurt so emotinially they are scared to say anything. Teachers need some authority again.

I sure hope Dad sees your comment – he will be pleased.

It is one thing to support your child and let him/her know unconditional love is his. But you do have to set boundaries, and a child should be taught the proper respect for authority. It is a shame that more kids are not taught that at an early age.

I’ll be honest that I usually get bored with movies of other people’s children (it’s why I always am surprised other people like the videos I share!) but WOWEE ZOWEE you’ve got a beautiful child there!

And, yeah, our li’l one isn’t very mobile. Only this week, almost a year old, she’s started doing the commando crawl-pull herself around fast enough that I can lose track.

Seriously beautiful baby. We can’t wait to see all of you in a few weeks!
